The Golden Angel is a not-for-profit corporation founded to provide a unique learning and living environment for children of middle to low income families here on the Hawaiian Islands. The name of the future school is “Kula Kia’i O Mauna Kea” which means “the school is protected by the Spirit of Mauna Kea”. This self-sustained, wind and solar powered Waldorf School will be based on Hawaiian values and surrounded by a spiritual community, a fully operational holistic healing center and a working biodynamic farm.
