Spiritual Renovations

Everyone needs a sacred space to retreat to…whether to meditate, sleep or just get away from the hustle and bustle of life. This holds true for the work environment. Over the past two years, coworkers asked if certain areas in their departments could be transformed into a more healing atmosphere. Lots of prayers and team work went into the projects. And all was accomplished within two weeks at no cost to the departments or the hospital.  Below are the “before” and “after” pictures of each project. Amazing!

The first project was the Grieving Room where families gather after a loved one passes in the Emergency Room.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The second project was the Operating Room’s Sleep Room for employees that need to stay overnight.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The third project was the Emergency Department’s Sleep Room for physicians working the night shift.
